For many Saudi stores, the weeks around Ramadan and Eid drive a disproportionate share of annual revenue. Shopping patterns shift dramatically — late-night browsing spikes, gifting surges, and demand concentrates into intense bursts. Merchants who plan ahead capture it; those who improvise scramble.
Prepare before the season starts. Build your gift collections and bundles, photograph them well, and write the copy now while you have time. Stock up on your best sellers and confirm your shipping capacity, because delivery delays during peak are the fastest way to lose a customer’s trust.
Lean into the rhythm of the month. Schedule your campaigns and emails for the hours when people are actually shopping — often late evening after iftar — and theme your storefront and promotions around generosity, gifting and gathering, which is what the season is about.
Make gifting effortless. Offer ready-made bundles at clear price points, add gift wrapping, and let buyers send directly to a recipient’s address. The easier you make it to give, the more baskets you will fill.
Plan for Eid before Ramadan ends. The shift from preparation to celebration changes what people want and how fast they need it. Have your last-order-for-Eid-delivery dates published clearly, and keep customer support responsive — a quick, kind reply during a stressful gifting deadline turns a one-time buyer into a loyal one.
